The Bachelor of Pharmacy degree is designed to provide graduates with  core skills and knowledge required for effective delivery of pharmaceutical care and the ability to proceed to research. The degree covers the study of the chemical, physical, pharmaceutical, and pharmacological properties of medicinal substances and their application  in pharmacy profession.
The basic professional education will enable the graduates to demonstrate a broad understanding of the scientific principles and techniques of the pharmaceutical sciences. At the same time, it will also enable them to continue their studies to undertake postgraduate training and research. This program has been inspired by the values that pharmacists should be  vital member of the health care team and they will hold job either in government or private sector.

Scope of Pharmacy
A pharmacy professional can work as production person in industries manufacturing drugs, synthetic chemicals, cosmetics, soaps, toiletries, dental products, biotechnological product, veterinary medicine, ayurvedic/homeopathic/Unani medicines. A pharmacy professional can work for research & development such as new drug discovery research, method development, quality control, formulation & development clinical trials, bio-equivalence studies and toxicological studies.

Marketing of  pharmaceutical products, as qualified drug expert in hospitals, in academics as a teacher, researcher. Regulatory affairs such as  Foods & Drugs Control Administration.In department of drug administration graduate pharmacist can work as levels of a drug inspector or officer.

The entry to the program is Certificate Pharmacy from CTEVT or other recognized University, I.Sc. Or 10+2 (Biological Group) or equivalent degree recognized by TU. Candidates securing 50% marks in aggregate in I.Sc. Or 10+2 or equivalent or Certificate in Pharmacy is eligible to apply.
